Nothing celebrates Friday like a Margarita recipe, right? For my latest “Essential Cocktails” post for Los Angeles Magazine‘s Digest blog, which went up this morning, I interviewed Las Perlas’ Raul Yrastorza on how to make and where to find the best margarita. Check it out and either make it for yourself today or make a bunch for your Super Bowl Sunday party.
Anyhoo, when I asked him who made the best margarita in town, one of the people he praised was Cari Hah, which doesn’t surprise me as this girl loooooves herself some tequila and mezcal. At the L.A. Craft Beer Crawl she was meh about the beer but all about the tequila at the Las Perlas stop.
You can check out Cari’s Margarita for yourself when you visit her at Cole’s on Fridays and Neat in Glendale on Thursdays. OR you can make her super simple Margarita recipe at home. With only three ingredients, minus the salt, it’s alll about the tequila.
