Toasting the new Digest blog team with Los Angeles Magazine’s Lesley Bargar Suter.

This coming Monday, Los Angeles Magazine is launching its redesigned Digest blog and effectively expanding its food coverage. I hear slideshows and videos are being added! Awesome news considering the magazine has already won so many awards (James Beard, MFK Fisher) for its comprehensive look at LA’s food scene.

And I’m ecstatic to say that I’ve been recruited to join the new blogging team for the Digest blog, working with the likes of Deep End Dining‘s Eddie Lin who will be reporting on Asian eats and bizarre bites, Street Gourmet LA‘s Bill Esparza who will be covering all things tasty Latin and The Sriracha Cookbook author/beer guru Randy Clemens who is our Associate Digest Editor and will make us all look goood.

“It’s my blogger dream team, and I couldn’t be more thrilled about their addition to the_ Los Angeles_ magazine family,” says Lesley Bargar Suter. Yay!

Suffice it to say, I scored the gig of covering LA’s drinking culture, which means finding where the best new drinks and bars are, chatting up the who’s who of bartenders, sharing the recipes of hot new cocktails and more. But is there anything else you’d like to read up on, LA? Let me know! I’m all ears.

And not to worry, I don’t intend to stop blogging here.
