Hope you’re recovering nicely from last night’s Halloween shenanigans. Day of the Dead indeed. In any case, found lots of weird LA weekend events for this roundup.

Mo-Chica Launches 30/30 Happy Half-Hour for November
Yeah, this is kinda of weird. Not really a full hour of happy but for 30 minutes from 5:30 to 6pm starting today and available every day til November 30th, Mo-Chica is offering guests 30 percent off its entire menu, including cocktails! As if that place doesn’t get packed enough as it is! So what’s the point? The restaurant said it’s their way of offering locals a budget-friendly way to “try a taste of Peru, rush-hour style.”
- 5:30-6pm through November 30. Mo-Chica, 514 W. 7th Street, Los Angeles (map). Reservations: (213) 622-3744.
Shave the Date Party + Pig Roast at Kings Row
Hey there, Movember participants, start off the month clean shaven before you go on that road to hairy lip-ness for charity. Kings Road and 18 | 8 men’s salon in Pasadena team up on a Shave the Date kick-off party where guests can get complimentary shaves on the restaurant’s patio. Those hungry after all that hair loss can indulge in the patio pig roast and a cheesy ball special whose proceeds will be donated to Movember. Eagle Rock Brewery, the Movember sponsor at Kings Road, will also donate part of its proceeds from beer sales at the restaurant. Buy a commemorative Movember mug and get a pint on the house as well as $1 off all beers all month long.
- 6-9pm. Kings Row Gastropub, 20 E. Colorado Boulevard, Pasadena (map). (626) 793-3010.

Detox/Retox Saturdays: Yoga Class at the Pub at Golden Road
Detox with a $10 yoga class out on the new lawn at the Pub at Golden Road and retox with a brew after. The beginner/intermediate-level class, lead by certified Ashtanga Yoga teacher Rob Rice, will take place every Saturday morning this month. Just bring your own mat. Afterward, attendees can enjoy the new breakfast menu of breakfast burgers, eggless omelettes and breakfast burritos. Now that’s my kind of yoga.
- 10:30-11:30am. $10 for class and beer. The Pub at Golden Road, 5410 West San Fernando Road, Los Angeles (map). RSVP to dana [at] goldenroad.la.

Smog City and Bootlegger’s Beer Dinner at Trattoria Neapolis
That’s right, not just one brewery but TWO at this beer dinner featuring Smog City Brewing & Bootlegger’s Brewery. Five courses by Chef Bryant Wigger will be paired by various beers courtesy of beer director and Beer Chick Christina Perozzi and in-house beer guy Richard Larkin. We’re talking pan-seared duck breast paired with Bootlegger’s Golden Chaos Belgian-style golden ale and the Smog City Groundwork Coffee porter with the stout sundae.
- 7pm. $70. Trattoria Neapolis, 336 S Lake Avenue, Pasadena (map). Reservations: (626) 792-3000.
