2nd Annual Los Angeles Food & Wine
It’s still not too late to grab tickets to events at this year’s LAFW! Kick off the fest tonight at Giada De Laurentiis’ Festa Italiana, hit up the Indulge Santa Monica dinner tomorrow, Lexus Live with Wolfgang Puck and Friends on Saturday and the Lexus Grand Tasting with John Sedlar, Akasha Richmond and David Lefevre on Sunday.

Neat Bar’s “Asian Night”
You don’t have to be Asian to enjoy this fun drink night with its Korean-themed cocktail menu of boba drinks and kimchee-backs. Uber talented, and coincidentally Korean, bartenders Cari Hah (Neat) and Daniel Eun (The Varnish) host this night of karaoke, food trucks and exotic drinks. I have a feeling it’s going to be pretty epic.

Beverly Hills Cocktail Week
It’s true, Beverly Hills has started its own cocktail week. This one features a variety of 90210 bars and their specialty cocktails showcasing ingredients from the weekly Beverly Hills Farmers Market. There’s the Blackberry Bramble at Bouchon with Nolet’s Gin, Lucien Jacob Creme de Cassis and farmer’s lemons and blackberries from Harry’s Berries. Or the Summer Peach Smash at the BLVD featuring peach-infused bourbon made from Fitzgerald Farms peaches. Special events include an outdoor screening of Casablanca on Sunday and a schmancy, $119 cocktail class at the Greystone Estate.

The Full Pint 5th Anniversary Celebration
Celebrate online beer publication The Full Pint’s 5th anniversary with a slew of rare craft beers at Naja’s in Redondo Beach. The $35 entry fee will gain you five taster tickets, food and a raffle ticket as well as a commemorative pint glass. Rare beers scheduled to be on tap include Russian River Temptation 2010, AleSmith Vanilla Coconut Speedway Stout, Allagash Ghoulschip and more. Space is really limited so the earlier you get there, the better your chances at getting in.

After the year that Hollywood’s Blue Palms Brewhouse has had after nearly closing, you can bet that this anniversary will be quite the celebration. And its tap list alone is cause for some squeeing with the likes of The Bruery’s Cuir and bourbon-y Golden Road Buffalo Trace Brown Ale, Monkey Paw Cask Buffalo Trace Chip Oaked Imperial Choco Porter and Lost Abbey Bourbon Angel Share! For $45, you get 12(!) 5-ounce tasters when you buy your tickets online, but only 10 if you buy at the door.

Death’s Door Spirits Pig Dinner at Ford’s Filling Station
At this spirited dinner featuring Wisconsin-based Death’s Door Spirits, guests will enjoy six courses of pork paired with cocktails. Pairings include grilled peaches and house guanciale with vodka, Campari, lemon and Lindemans Lambic Peche as well as a dessert of chocolate ganache bar, bacon ice cream, bacon caramel chocolate doughnut with bacon-infused Death’s Door White Whisky, coffee liqueur, Crème de Cacao and cream.
