The Taste’s Burgers and Beers
****Join Beer Chicks Christina Perozzi and Hallie Beaune at this beertastic event for LA Times‘ The Taste. The girls have curated a selection of craft brews just for the occasion. There will be tasty beers by celebrated breweries like Craftsman, Stone Brewing, TAPS and Ommegang. For the burger portion of the evening, The Counter’s executive chef Marc Boussarie will demo unusual burgers and pair them with beers for your tasting pleasure.

5th Annual White Trash Wine Tasting at Colorado Wine Company
Every year I look forward to this tasting. So much fun and sinfully delicious. This round the CoWineCo folks have paired the likes of corn nuts with Lucien Albrecht Cremant d’Alsace and tuna, pecan, cream cheese, pimento balls with Vina Clavidor Verdejo, Rueda, Spain. Don your best overalls, brush out your mullet and put in your teeth, it’s a special occasion.

Beer Belly x The Park’s Finest: Backyard Boogie
Aww, the last days of summer. Bid your favorite season adieu with one of the city’s best BBQ from The Park’s Finest along with beer pairings by Beer Belly. For $10 a plate you get pork ribs, tri-tip, pulled pork, and more. All proceeds from the BBQ will go to helping The Park set up its first retail location.

Burlesque Mondays Kicks Off at Basement Tavern
This Santa Monica basement bar will get a touch more speakeasy-esque with its burlesque performances on Monday. And while you enjoy the jazzy stylings of Behind the Six, sip on $10 specialty cocktails like the Strawberry Moon made with Moonshine, strawberries, citrus and a float of champagne. Shots of moonshine, absinthe, Jameson and Fireball whiskey will also be available for $7.
