POSTPONED: Los Angeles Taste of the World Festival
Update: Due to “last-minute unknown costs” the festival has been postponed! Glob trot without leaving LA. At this food fest in Los Angeles Center Studios, you get to try cuisine from five continents, including countries like Romania, Holland and Chile in addition to Singapore and Brazil. Restaurants and food trucks will serve tapas-size plates from $1-$7.

Saturday, November 6
Vegan Beer Fest
This inaugural beer festival will feature 50 beers from over 20 brewers like Eagle Rock Brewery, Stone Brewing and New Belgium. There will also be lots of vegan food vendors and food trucks as well as live bands.

Savor the Flavor Beer and Tequila Tasting
Taste beer from 10 local breweries and four types of tequila from 1800 Tequila. There will also be live music, dancing, Mexican food and a raffle for an iPad.

LA Loves Alex’s Lemonade
Great chefs like Food Network’s Giada de Laurentiis create their signature dishes right before your eyes. There will also be star mixologists mixing up their tasty cocktails. In addition to the culinary stars, actress Jennifer Garner will lend her support to the event as an honorary chairperson and Jim Belushi will be the master of ceremonies. All for a good cause: Alex’s Lemonade Stand for childhood cancer research.
