“Happy Hour hours are whenever we are open, always happy at our bar!” said Drago Centro‘s beverage director/sommelier, Michael Shearin when I asked him when was the downtown restaurant’s happy hour. Awesome! That means boozers on a budget can get cheap eats and cocktails whenever they want (well, whenever the bar is open). And considering that the “happy hour” Drago Centro Bar Menu was just updated with a fresh set of cocktails — well except for the Aviation which Michael said may be changed out — this is something I can’t WAIT to check out.

The classic cocktail menu ($5 each):

• Aviation: Plymouth Gin, maraschino, crème de violette, lemon
• Classic Mai Tai: Appleton Rum, orgeat, orange, curacao, lime
• Rye Manhattan: Pikesville Rye, sweet vermouth, bitters
• Sea Breeze: Pearl vodka, cranberry, grapefruit

The bar menu also features affordable bites that range in price from $3 marinated cerignola olives to $8 for house selection of charcuterie. The newest tasty treat on the menu is the pork belly quiche.

Happy hour never felt so luxurious. You’re basically getting high-quality food and drink on the cheap and the best part is that you don’t have to wait til specific hours of the day to benefit!
