A busy weekend with a lot of the events going on today! I’ll be too busy fretting about the 13.1 marathon on Sunday woo! but you go and have fun doing the following. I wanna see that Star Wars burlesque, though.

Free Food at Doughboys
At first this seemed too good to be true but apparently it is! Doughboys, which had closed down back in 2007, is now back. It’s reopening in its old spot and for today and tomorrow will be giving away free food! Yes, that’s FREE soup, salad and sandwiches from 11am to 2pm and 5pm to 8pm. Lunch and dinner is on them!

Star Wars Burlesque at Bordello Bar
Star Wars fan boys, now it’s your chance to live your ultimate fantasy: Princess Leia in that slave girl outfit doing a fan dance. OK, I don’t know if that’s really gonna go down at this Star Wars burlesque show but that’s what I think of when I see those words together. In any case, you’ll enjoy performances from the likes of Devil’s Playground dancers Lucy Fur, Audrey Deluxe and Scarlet O’Gasm at this fun theme show.

American Cinematheque’s Elvis Presley’s 75th Birthday Celebration
