This weekend marks the last weekend for the Hello Kitty Three Apples Exhibit at Royal/T Cafe in Culver City before the cafe/art gallery makes way for the “In Bed Together” exhibit next week. So if you haven’t checked out the cutest little art exhibit ever along with its adorable pop-up store, this is your last chance. There are even a couple of parties to go out with a ME-YOW.

For Friday the 13th from 8pm to 2am, Hello Kitty goes ’80s goth for a Bats and Cats Masquerade. Goody bags for the first 100 visitors, dancing and a DJ, a performance group, a “Best Dressed” contest and you get to meet the Kitty herself!

Saturday is a fashion show party from 7 to 11pm with runway shows debuting Hello Kitty-inspired fashions that will be sold at the event. Again the first 100 party-goers score goody bags. But everyone gets to enjoy an interactive workshop by one of the designers as well as photo ops with HK. Unfortunately the Sanrio site says you need a ticket to watch the runway show but for some reason the event isn’t listed on Brown Paper Tickets site even though that’s where the link takes you. Hm.

But I highly recommend perusing the pop-up store. I found the cutest Tokidoki Hello Kitty iPhone cover and absolutely love it. And the Hello Kitty-inspired art itself is so fun. The photos with Lady Gaga decked out in HK fashions are pretty neato. And the cafe is even featuring a special Hello Kitty high tea.
