This is for my friend JDP who is a huuuuge Dancing With the Stars fan. I’m not so much but ever since I saw that Gilles Marini from the Sex and the City movie displaying his sexay Argentine Tango moves on the show…well, I’ve been keeping an eye on things. But fans of the show are kuh-rayzee for it that’s why I thought they’d appreciate knowing that Maggiano’s Little Italy at the Grove in Midcity has revealed a specialty cocktail menu inspired by DWTS.
In all honesty, these cocktails ($9.75) don’t sound like my cuppa tea, not even Gilles’ Hot Pants, but you may find something you like. I just thought it was fun.
- Chuck Wickes — Stealing Cinderella: scotch, triple sec, sweet & sour, simple syrup
- David Alan Grier — Chuckleberry Martini: vodka, raspberry liqueur and triple sec
- Gilles Marini — Gilles’ Hot Pants: tequila, peppermint schnapps, grapefruit juice and triple sec
- Holly Madison — Holly’s Playboy Cooler: gold rum, Kahlua, pineapple juice, lime juice and Coke
- Lawrence Taylor — Lawrence’s Lemon Merengue: vanilla vodka, triple sec and sweet & sour
