This weekend you’ve got the Los Angeles Art Weekend and the Songkran New Year celebration in Thai Town. But if you’re still looking for other things to filly, the following are real horrorshow, my droogies.

Kubrilesque: A Burlesque Tribute to Stanley Kubrick
There’s something disturbing and sexy about a burlesque tribute to Stanley Kubrick. But I guess that’s the point. A burlesque take on 2001: A Space Odyssey involves girls coming out in gorilla suits and then stripping down to bathing suits and NASA caps. I hear they’re reinterpreting Full Metal Jacket next. Yowza! The Pfelton Sutton Trio and DJ Danny D and Matty Matt of “Tainted Tuesday” and “Rad” will supply the tunes.
- $10, if you rsvp $20 if not. 8pm. Fais Do-Do, 5257 W Adams Blvd , Los Angeles (map).
