If you like baseball and Taco Bell, you probably already heard about this but for those who don’t care for junk food or know that there are 9 innings in a baseball game…9, right?…then you definitely won’t care about this. However, for those into freebies…
When I was casually watching the World Series during Cabo Cantina’s happy hour in Santa Monica, something happened on the screen to make the big loud guy sitting next to me say, “We get free tacos! Free tacos for America!”
Turns out he was referring to Taco Bell’s Steal a Base, Steal a Taco campaign where the fast food chain promised a free crunchy seasoned beef taco to all comers should a base be stolen during the World Series. And sure enough a base was stolen by the Red Sox’s Jacoby Ellsbury. So on Tuesday, October 30 from 2 to 5pm, if you ask for a free taco at any participating Taco Bell, you get one. You don’t have to be a baseball fan for the freebie.
I wonder if the lines will be long? Or where in America will they be the longest?
EVENT: TUESDAY, OCTOBER 30 from 2 to 5pm
