It’s that time of year when you gotta start thinking of coming out of your dull winter skin. Too bad that usually means taking a pumice stone to your heels since spa treatments cost so darn much. Fortunately, Spa Week is here again where you can get spa treatments for just $50 at luxury spas all around L.A. We’re talking Agua at the Mondrian, Ocean Spa at Loews Santa Monica and Aqua Star Spa at the Beverly Hilton to name a few where you can indulge in a fancy treatment for just a fraction of its regular price.

I’d say check Spa Week’s site for a list of participating spas and their $50 treatment specials but it seems to be acting screwy at the moment. So may I suggest the following specials? BTW, make your appointment with the spa of your choice asap before they get all booked up for Spa Week. Don’t forget to mention that you’d like the Spa Week special.

• Massage: Beverly Hilton’s Aqua Star Spa has the 60-minute Stone Hot Massage which uses warm stones and various massage methods to release tension while invoking a state of deep relaxation for the mind and body.
  • Facial: Marc Edward Skin Care‘s 60-minute Signature Microdermabrasion Facial (reg. $155) comes with a high-tech skin analysis. Christy Turlington, model and a client, said of the treatment, “My skin glows for days.”
  • Eyelash Extensions or Airbrush Tan: Beba Beauty is offering either treatment for 50 bucks. They usually charge $200 for eyelash extensions and $65 for the full-body airbrush tan.
  • Scalp Treatment: The Mondrian’s Agua Bathhouse Spa has a 45-minute Heaven & Earth Scalp Treatment with Reflexology Treatment (reg. $155 for 60 minutes).
  • Foot Treatment: Escape Day Spa‘s 55-minute Ocean View Egyptian Foot Awakening with Exfoliating Foot Scrub and Reflexology Massage (reg. $70). I’m usually a $20-mani/pedi girl myself but this one sounds too good to pass up. Imagine nearly an hour of feet pampering while you sip tea and enjoy the ocean view from the spa’s outdoor patio. Treatment description: “Enjoy an essential oil and herbal infused foot soak kept warm with smooth river stones. Next, one of our skilled therapists exfoliates dead skin cells from your toes, heals and ankles. Lastly, a nourishing herbal foot cream is used for an invigorating and therapeutic reflexology treatment.”
