Wanna get a really unique Christmas gift or one-of-a-kind art for yourself that’s under $100? How about art work created by those born to see the world differently? The Exceptional Children’s Foundation Art Center will be having an art show this Saturday from 1 to 5pm. I’m not talking just paintings but also hundreds of sculptures, ceramics and textiles created by “extraordinary artists with developmental differences,” namely Art Center participants ranging in age from 18 to 65 who have multiple disabilities—mental retardation, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, autism and/or emotional and psychiatric disorders. All proceeds benefit the ECF and the artists, and your purchases are tax-deductible! So you’ll be doing a good deed just by acquiring a unique creation.
